  • Comment from David Creswell (Clive, 1964-1970):
    Probably the only time an established band had a 'Head of Brass' who couldn't read music & could only toot notes in the wrong key. Thank heavens for Mpaayei. The band had enjoyed something of a revival of interest when road mending, fish pond making & other hard-graft "HARAMBEE" projects were started. Enough said.
